Gettin a belly

Its mostly my existing fat being pushed out by my overstretched uterus lol But, its there. Maternity pants are a must at this point and I look like Im about 5 months along, when Im only 14 weeks at this point hahaha.
Not a whole heck of a lot to update. On Monday we had a midwife appointment and heard the baby for the first time on the doppler. Hazel loved hearing her baby brother or sisters heartbeat...it was so cute, she kepts replaying the recording A had done for D, since he couldnt be there. Afterwards, we went for lunch at our regular place, White Spot (because they are really family friendly and Hazel can get away with being Hazel there lol). It was a fun morning...I always enjoy my time with them!

Another ultrasound today!

Had another ultrasound and measured 8 weeks 5 days so, right on target! Not much of a visit today...but again, Hazel was very concerned that I was up too high and wanted me to "come back down" lol

First ultrasound!

So on friday the 21st, we had a date with the weenie wand and had our first o/b ultrasound. First, Hazel and A and I met for lunch at our normal place, the White Spot, cause thats one place we know the Hiz and her wildness will be tolerated lol. She was excited to see me and had aparently been talking about me all morning. She sat next to me for a bit, helped herself to some of my fries and the last of my burger hahaha Even tried my coleslaw, which she then went over to mom and spit it on her plate hahaha Hilarious. At least she was polite about it!!

After lunch, we met up with D over at the clinic across the street. He left work to come be at the ultrasound and would have to go back to work and work extra long to make up for it (boring bank related shit haha) but at least he was able to come. When I went back to the change room, I could hear Hazel calling out to me, which was so cute. While I was in the change room, A, D and Hazel came to the waiting area where I was and I modelled my lovely paper gown. Hazel loved it and touched it...said it was like her towel at home hahaha.We were finally called into the exam room and I got up on my perch. The doc raised the table up and Hazel got a little concerned that I was "Too high! Go back down!" lol After determining that I was 6 weeks plus 5 days according to transfer date, he gave me the weenie wand and got to work lol We found one little bean in there, nice yolk sac feeding it (doctor said it was hungry and eating a bagel) and a flickering heartbeat!!! 12O bpm! And measuring 6 week 6 days, so, perfect! Got a couple of pictures and then we were done! I got dressed and we made our way to the pharmacy to grab more needles and then were were on our way. A had to take D to work, and Hazel needed to get home for her much needed nap...but before leaving she gave me a big hug and kiss. What a sweetheart!!!

757!!! Yay!!! Ive called the midwives and hoping to set up an appointment in March! Stoked!!!

Yay!!!! Were pregnant!!!

Super excited to announce that our beta result yesterday (at 10dp5dt) was a whopping 305!!! With Hazel it was 212 so this is even higher! Im super stoked and cant wait to start showing lol Probably wont be long till I start gaining a whack load of weight...I cant stop eating...thats usually a sign Im pregnant and I started feeling hungry very quickly. I took a hpt on day 4 (at the pressure of my surrosisters lol) and knew for 6 days I was pregnant before my IPs did...TORTURE!!! Then IM didnt get home from work until super late and so she didnt open the email with the beta results until like 10pm so I had known the number since like 4pm and had to sit on it ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY! lol

Oh well...its out now and everyone knows and were all excited!!! 2nd beta tomorrow! Hopeing for a nice high number (but not toooooo high lol)

Transfer complete!

Well on Thursday Jan 24th, A, D and I travelled to Seattle for the day to do the transfer of one beautiful little embryo!!! Now is the dreaded 2 week wait!!! My surro sisters have been telling me to pee dammit!! But I am not one of those crazy pee'ers . Im pretty sure I waited until 5dp5dt last time and thats what I intend to do this time as well...which will be tomorrow then. If I see a line, then Im happy. Ill test again the next day and that will likely be it. My beta is on Feb 3rd so keep fingers crossed for us!!!!

Transfer date set!!!

Yep! I had my lining check on Thursday and everything was great....lining was at a nice 11.5mm with a triple stripe. Dr said it looked "text book". They sent off the report to the transferring clinic in Seattle and my nurse there emailed A and I and let us know that we are booked in for our transfer on Friday January 24th!!!! How exciting!!!! I am super stoked. Hazel will be coming with us to Seattle and will be there for the transfer, since neither A or D want to miss the transfer...so Hazel is subjected to it as well lol

Tomorrow I start PIO which I am not looking forward to. Those needles are freakin HUGE. But....at the same time its exciting because it means we are there!
Anyhoo, not much more to share for now! Just wanted to update! Ill be sure to update after the transfer...if not before then with some choice words about my first PIO injections of this cycle lol

Oh...and here is a cute photo of the Hiz and I 2 weeks ago at my suppression check! How frickin cute is she!!!

Merry Christmas

Hello to my fellow bloggers, family and friends.

Just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas....from my family to yours!!!!

This year I am particularly grateful to have a wonderful family. Though Miles and I are separating, we get along completely and still care about each other a lot. We spent Christmas together as normal....as a family....and I hope it is always that way. In the summer, my good camera, the one I waited forever for, broke and since then I have felt the void. I love taking pictures and have really missed having a decent camera to have fun with. Well....Miles got me a replacement one. These cameras are like $1000!!! He really is amazing. I cried when I opened it, which made him cry. I love that we can still have these moments and its not weird and we can openly hug each other and appreciate each other. It shows our kids that you dont have to fight and hate each other through a separation. I think its teaching them, and us, a lot about how things can be.

I have found a house and will be moving in in January...and I am super excited about that. Its a great home and has plenty of room. It will be nice to have a place to call my own, where I can bring the guy Im seeing over, where I can be alone if I want, but with people if I choose. Where I can make my own space and not have to ask someone for their opinion. It will be a nice change from the past 16 years of my life. I am looking forward to it.

Moving along!!!!

So today I went for my hysteroscopy and it was a successful scope! I was little worried because I was due to get my period and had some spotting yesterday. If I had to cancel this appointment, I likely wouldn't get in until after Christmas, which would put our transfer into Feb...when our original plan was Dec! As it is, we are already pushed to Jan so it would have been a huge disappointment, to say the least, had I not been able to take the appointment.

Thankfully, everything looked great though and I was able to email the nurse at the transferring clinic and she emailed me my calendar!!! Looks like transfer will take place sometime between the 19th and 25th of January!!!! The order for meds has been sent to the clinic here....and I start Lupron next week! It is finally starting to feel real now...like there is a light at the end of the tunnel! A and I joked that it was a Christmas miracle! lol

I thought it was pretty cool and took a pic of my uterus...I told the doctor it was because I wanted to show my kid...but truly, I just think its really rad to see the inside of me....all pink and smooth. He removed a small polyp on my cervix right then and there and said his report will say Im ready to go!

So I was able to head over to the Sunshine Coast last week and took a pic at the mandala in Roberts Creek. Man I love that place and would so love to move there. I've made friends with some beautiful people in that town.....here is a pic of me at the mandala. I have lost quite a bit of weight and currently only 5 lbs from my goal...just in time to gain it all back lol

It just seems there is delay after delay...and Im starting to get a little discouraged. Not only did the clinic in the states where we do the transfer, screw the pooch, but we have had some issues with the clinic here as well, and then my dr's office....dont even get me started on that. Finally get everything in order....appointment made for tomorrow for my hyteroscopy and what happens...break through bleeding (my bad...I missed a BCP and took it the next day). So, that appointment is cancelled and made for next week. By then, I could have my AF again and back to waiting. 

So...that is whats happening in my world right now. Argggghhhhh
